We’re proud to be Aotearoa New Zealand’s first (and only) Living Wage-accredited bookshop, with a select and inclusive range of books for all.

GOOD BOOKS opened its doors in October 2020. It was founded by two writers, Jane Arthur and Catherine Robertson, because the middle of a pandemic is always the ideal time to start a new business.

We're trialling a new idea where our customers can buy Pay It Forward book vouchers for very deserving local schools.
