SUBSCRIPTIONS
What’s more exciting than getting a parcel of good reading in the mail every month? Nothing, we reckon! So treat yourself or someone you know to a GOOD BOOKS Subscription. It’s a personalised, luxury gift service for book-lovers of all ages.
How does it work?
Once you’ve bought a Subscription through our online shop, we’ll email you a form asking for the contact details of you and the recipient (which can be you - treat yourself!).
Then we’ll send the recipient a welcome email, with a link to a questionnaire. That’s where they’ll tell us all about their reading preferences. Using that information, the GOOD BOOKS team will put our heads together and carefully select books we’re sure the recipient will love.
In the first week of each month, we’ll gift-wrap a hand-selected book and send it out to the recipient by courier. There’ll be a mix of new releases and hidden gems. If you’ve bought a 12-month subscription, the recipient will receive a free gift in their birthday month.
We’ll always include an exchange card, just in case, which means the recipient can swap the book at any New Zealand bookshop (as long as it’s a member of Booksellers Aotearoa NZ).
THE OPTIONS
Adults
GOOD LUCK: A carefully selected book each month.
A six-month subscription is $250 (including NZ delivery).
A 12-month subscription is $500 (including NZ delivery). This will include a small free gift in the recipient’s birthday month.
Children and teens
GOOD KIDS: A carefully selected children’s book each month. Suitable for ages 0 to 17.
A six-month subscription is $175 (including NZ delivery).
A 12-month subscription is $350 (including NZ delivery). This will include a small free gift in the recipient’s birthday month.
BOOK STACKS
When you need to buy a gift for the book-lover in your life, consider a GOOD BOOKS Book Stack - the premium gift solution.
Available in different values to suit all budgets, our expert booksellers will hand-select a range of guaranteed good reads based on the information you'll provide us in an online form (we'll email it to you after your purchase is completed online).
We'll then giftwrap the books with a ribbon (including exchange cards for each one, just in case), and provide a free GOOD WORDS gift card (worth $7.50) with your personal message to the recipient. The parcel will be couriered on the next courier run, and you'll receive an automated tracking email..
