Information for self-published authors
We are a very small shop, and every month we learn about thousands of new books from publishers big and small. This means we need to make some tough calls about what we buy for our shelves.
It’s a constantly evolving process as our customers’ tastes and interests change, with us trying to predict and keep up with the market.
If you’d like GOOD BOOKS to stock your book, please follow this process:
Email jane@goodbookshop.nz with information about your book. Include a short blurb, author/illustrator information, a cover image, format and number of pages, the ISBN, the RRP (recommended retail price) and the cost price (usually around 40% off RRP). If the book has been reviewed, include those too.
Do not send us a copy of the book unless we request it.
We will be in touch if we think your book is right for us.
